Voting Question: My son was placed in DD services at Albertina Kerr in Portland Oregon. He was repeatedly physically abused and?

suffered injuries in their care. Each time he was bruised, family visits were canceled until the bruises went away. During his three year placement, Rockwood (Portland OR) DHS and Albertina Kerr required that no "negative talk of the provider" take place, and when my son attempted to report his mistreatment, visits were systematically either suspended or cancelled - often times family visits took place until the discussion changed to how he is being mistreated, then the remaining visit immediately cancelled by the DHS worker. At one time, I took my son (on a community visit) to a police officer, his social worker, AND the individual at Rockwood DHS who was responsible for investigating mistreatment by the providers. ALL three of them took photos of the bruis(es). I later received a notice from DHS stating that it was unable to be determined - whe source of the complaint; and the investigator was reassigned to the Gresham DHS office. Since Oregon DHS has virtually all family law attorneys in Oregon under their thumb, can someone reading this forward this information to an attorney outside Oregon to assist my family in seeking recovery? I had my son eventually returned to my care when the judge saw the photo I took of him being placed in an injurious hold for no cause, and he reports that other kids have actually died in state care with no media coverage and no possibly parental notification....
