Resolved Question: Oregon Medical Marijuana Card Questions?

I am planning on moving to Oregon in the future. I was wondering a few things. I was born in Oregon and lived there 5 years before moving to a non-medicalized state. Will I be able to get a medical card right away if I have a debilitating illness? Is the town of Gresham (west of portland) a medical friendly town? Will I be able to grow and become a caregiver safely? I would really either like to grow my own medicine or be a caregiver to multiple different patients. How possible/likely is it that I would be able to do this? Do I have to be a resident or live in Oregon for a certain amount of time before I'm eligible for a medical card?
